Acorn Landscapes Planting Schemes are designed to recreate natural settings. We believe that gardens should be an appreciation of nature, as opposed to a struggle against it. With this in mind our Planting Schemes incorporate Native species wherever possible making them a significant benefit to Local Wildlife.
Sensible Layouts and Structured Planting ensure that planted areas fill out and future maintenance is reduced. Maintenance is further reduced by finishing planted areas in Stone or Bark Mulch (a natural by-product of the Timber industry).

All Trees and Shrubs are sourced through Annaveigh Plants Ltd who are one of the most experienced nurseries in the country and Irelands foremost Tree Nursery.
Planting Schemes are drawn-up by qualified Horticulturalists and all Planting is guaranteed for 12 months.

Bare root Tree and Hedge Planting
Most of our tree and hedging planting is carried out over the winter months, generally from October/November through to March/April. This is known as the ‘dormant season’ for trees and hedging when they are not actively growing and can be easily planted as bare root i.e., without soil or pots.

Planting bare root trees and hedging is cheaper, less labour intensive and much quicker than planting containerised plants. They are also easier to transport, generate far less waste, and require less watering to establish, making them much more environmentally sustainable.
Bare root trees and hedging also establish and grow more quickly than their potted counterparts.
