Stone Work

Create a garden feature wall with locally sourced materials

Timeless Stonework

Stonework forms an integral part of many of our designs and gardens.
Retaining walls, boundary walls and Special Features can all be used to give structure and define the shape of a garden. As with the planting schemes our stonework is designed and built to look at home in its surroundings, this often means establishing the areas geology and sourcing stone as locally as possible.

Ireland is geologically very diverse, which allows us to vary the type of stone and building techniques greatly over different projects. Sandstone, Limestone, Quartzite, and Granite are among the more common stone types that are used with lime mortar and drystone being the preferred building techniques.

We also specialise in creating unique garden features including Sundials, Stone Seats, Bird Baths, Arches, Moon Gates, Water Features and Stone Sculptures.
All Stonework is carried out by skilled craftsmen using tried and tested building techniques to achieve a quality end product
